naturally, jack was born because i felt there was a need for simple, natural dog treats.  due to the recent recalls, i became more  conscientious  about what i was feeding my dogs.  i found it very difficult to find treats that i felt were safe.  because of this, i started playing around with different ingredients in the kitchen.  my mission was, and still is, to create healthy, uncomplicated treats that dogs would go crazy for, using ingredients that are good for their skin as well as their health.
